Summer TV Project:
Yep it’s that time of the year when most of the shows I watch are on hiatus and so this year’s summer TV project will be watching The West Wing. Somehow I have never seen a single episode of the show and while I know a few major plot points I am relatively unspoiled. I know there are many that see President Bartlet in the same way I see Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights and I already think Martin Sheen is really great so this is already something I am looking forward to. The rest of the cast contains several other actors I think are great in everything they do (see Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford) and I know that I will be playing ‘spot the now more famous face’ throughout.
Other shows I will be devouring over the summer break include Parks and Recreation and Dollhouse. I will probably watch some more Dawson’s Creek as I cracked open the S4 boxset the other day when I needed some teen nostalgia.
Oh and of course I will be counting down the days until Breaking Bad returns.
If the last episode of Mad Men is anything to go by I will also be putting my broken soul back together again.
